I started my own Accounting and Tax Consultant practice in 2012. I have a passion for Taxation and assisting clients to manage their taxes in a responsible way. I believe that every client should pay as little as possible tax, within the boundaries of the relevant tax laws. To manage this, I make sure that I keep up to date with the ever-changing field of Taxation. I have a hands-on approach and Tax planning is an integral part of what we do. Taxes payable should never come as a shock but must be managed and planned properly.
Estate planning is an integral part of proper tax planning. Without good estate planning your estate can end up insolvent or with a cash shortfall. This can lead to a nightmare for your loved ones left behind. I believe that planning relieves stress and uncertainty. Plan for the Estate Duty and Capital Gains tax upon death and remove any uncertainty in this area. There are ways to structure the ownership of your assets to minimize these taxes payable legally.

Academic qualifications:
- National Higher Certificate: Financial Information Systems (2010) – Central University of Technology
- National Diploma: Financial Information Systems (2015) – Central University of Technology
- SAIPA Professional evaluation passed to obtain the delegation Accounting Technician (SA) (2015)
After obtaining my National Diploma from the Central University of Technology, I was already working and doing articles to become an accounting technician at a previous accounting firm. When my articles were complete, I stayed on as an accounting clerk. I passed the SAIPA professional evaluation exam in February 2015 and became an Accounting Technician (SA).
In May 2019 I started working at LFI Accountants. It is my greatest pleasure working with Liani as she is a great mentor and always seeks to be the best in the field. I also have a high standard for maintaining client records and making sure all is up to date and correct. I enjoy working in the dynamic and ever-changing field of accounting and taxation.
Angelique Wilken
HR Consultant and Bookkeeper
I worked in the financial service industry since 2006, first as a bank clerk and later specialised in financial services for the medical industry. I helped managed a well-known Physio practice in Pretoria dealing with their claims to medical aids and patient accounts.
After moving back to Bloemfontein I joined the team of Fouché Medical Accountants in 2022 to manage our clients in the medical service industry’s claims to medical aids and patient accounts.
I always had an interest in HR and bookkeeping, I, therefore, was given the opportunity to assist LFI Accountants (which operate from the same offices as Fouche Medical Accountants) with their client’s HR and Payroll needs.
Currently, I handle all the HR needs of LFI Accountant’s clients and recently started bookkeeping functions for our clients. I deal with the processing of transactions up to Trial Balance and VAT returns.
I am currently studying towards my National Diploma in Human Resources Management and Practices.
I am organized and can work well under pressure; therefore I enjoy the high-paced environment of the accounting industry. I also enjoyed learning new skills and expanding my knowledge and gaining more experience in my career.
